Yes, you’ll finally get to hear a new WASP record on October 2nd. We’ve been promised it’s got a mad mix of styles and judging by the first single, Last Runaway, the rumours are true. Fans of hair metal, it’s time to get the spray out! Kildare boys, Stereo Nasty have announced their debut album, Nasty By Nature, is set for release next month. If it’s first preview tune, ‘Interstellar’ is anything to go by the lads have a pretty epic record for us. It’s being released by American label, Stormspell Records, so hopefully the lads will get a nod into the tried, tested and livn’ it US market.

StereoNasty2Tickets There hasn’t had the chance to hear the album in full or see the guys live yet, but all reports from our inadequate – secret Spice Girl fan boy rivals are glowing so we’re going to trust there’s something pretty excellent on this album. Expect a review once we have a copy. In the meantime, check out Interstellar below (further, that’s the release info you’re reading).

Nasty By Nature will be available on August 8th and it’s being release on cassette, CD and digitally. You can also pre-order the record now from the Stereo Nasty official bandcamp page.

Sad news for fans of DECAPITATED, GRAND MAGUS and WINTERFYLLETH as they’ve been forced to drop out of tonight’s BEHEMOTH show at The Academy. Because of high winds and general horribleness, ferries have been cancelled and the bands are unable to travel over.

It’s not all bad though, thanks to some huge efforts on DME’s part, BEHEMOTH will be able to play this evening. The black metal titans cannot be stooped by mere Godly weather and will live on to reign unholy hell upon our mortal souls. In other words, they’re going to play a f**king blinder tonight.

Filling in for support tonight will be Malthusian and Aeternum Vale. You can view the fill statement from DME below about tonight’s shows. See ye all there!

Statement from DME (12/12/2014)

10402961_721389241263144_7242146594380982803_nPlease note that due to the horrific weather conditions in the UK and the subsequent cancellation of all ferries, the support bands will be unable to make tonight’s BEHEMOTH! show. However, due to monumental efforts from all involved throughout the evening and night, Behemoth will still play Dublin tonight. Support will now come from Malthusian and Aeternum Vale.

We realise this change will cause some disappointment but hope that you will understand that these are exceptional circumstances and appreciate the massive efforts made to ensure the headline band plays and the fact that that all concerned have gone beyond the call of duty both in terms of effort and finances to make Behemoth’s long awaited return to Ireland still happen.

Doors will still open at 6pm with Aeternum Vale onstage at 7.15pm, Malthusian at 8pm and Behemoth at approx. 9.15pm.
