DEATH DTA announce Dublin return
Last year we were in shock when Death announced they’d reformed and were coming over to Europe for a tour. Of course, no Death line-up is every going to be fully complete with the presence of a certain Mr. Schuldiner, but who worries about these things? All those Death songs were sitting dormant for long enough and needed to be aired out. So, last November they came to the Academy as Death DTA (Death to All) and put on an incredible show. No Chuck, but remaining members from the Human era with Max Phelps on vocals were spectacular. Their dedication to Death’s legacy and performance would have been more than enough to make Chuck proud – saying that as a person that never knew the man, but he would have been a right fussy fuss pot not to have enjoyed the show. Now count your lucky stars if you missed it because they’re coming back!
DEATH DTA are returning to The Academy on March 3rd to celebrate Chuck and the twentieth anniversary of the Symbolic album. The night promises to be an incredible tribute to one of metal’s pioneers and the genre/music he created with stealer musicians, savage tunes and pints a plenty. Tickets are on sale now priced €27.50 from all Ticketmaster outlets and online of course. Follow the official event page for all the scoop.
