Book_of_Souls_Iron_MaidenIt’s been five long years since Iron Maiden release new material but the wait is finally over. Today, the mighty Maiden have unleashed the first single from their new album, Book of Souls.

‘Speed of Light’ is a welcome return to their 80’s form with the entire band sounding great. Bruce had to overcome a lot of personal troubles to get this release and he’s sounding mighty. But how will it go down with the Maiden faithful? Have a listen below. Book of Souls will follow on September 4th.

Fallen Fate Release New Video

Posted in Music, Music Video, News with tags , , , on February 18, 2014 by Tickets There

485486_10151621119931368_1911828756_nFallen Fate have released a brand new video for the track, ‘I Welcome The Dead’ from this year’s Into The Black album. The video is loosely based around band’s blistering live performance, all the while there is the lingering presence of Vespa, the tortured soul behind the band’s concept for ‘Into the Black’.

Vocalist and guitarist Lee Skinner had this to say about Vespa, “She [Vespa] chose a life without faith and over time became possessed by a demon. The demon slowly took over her body and ultimately led her to kill herself and her family. The drive behind the concept is to empower the listener to decide whether she was possessed by the Devil, as she has no saviour in her life, or if she was possessed by God, punishing her for her lack of faith.”  Warning: Video does not feature Adam Sandler.

Check out the new video below.

Reckless Love Release ‘So Happy I Could Die’

Posted in Music, Music Video, New Music, News with tags , , , , , , , , on August 23, 2013 by Tickets There

20130823-111825.jpgThe second single from their forthcoming album, Spirit, is here! Fans have been waiting with pained faces and bated breath for the follow-up to ‘Night On Fire’ and our favourite Finnish lads have delivered. ‘So Happy I Could Die’ is an excellent harder rock swagger than anything we’ve heard from the lads in a while. You can almost hear their Guns N’Roses era sound stream through as the song harks back to bad ass tunes like ‘Garden of Eden’, before propelling into one of their classic anthemic pop rock masterpieces.

Reckless Love are a band normally filed under guilty pleasures, but that’s not where they belong. We need more Reckless Love in our daily lives. Nightclubs, bars, bands, trains, planes and automobiles – everyone should be playing Reckless Love everywhere all the time. A phenomenal portal to fun, frolics and awesomeness. We need more Reckless Love and less everything else.

Spirit will see its official; release on August 30th. It’s the bands third album and currently shaping up to be their best! Dearest RL and DME, please find a way to return to Ireland this year. We need ye!

31930_539926336029359_1651500463_nGAMA BOMB fans will remember the call to help them film a video for the next single from their fourth album, The Terror Tapes which hit shelves last month (review still to come – bad Tickets There). The band called fans down to Mabo’s in Dublin at the start of last month to film a chaotic video that should be airing soon. Judging by the clip, things seem to have gone pretty well!

The Rolling Stones – Doom and Gloom (New Song!)

Posted in Music, Music Video, New Music with tags , , , , , on October 11, 2012 by Tickets There

The Rolling Stones have officially kicked off the build up to GRRR! A greatest hits set coming out next mont to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary. Included on the set are two new tracks, ‘Doom and Gloom’ and ‘One More Shot’. Doom and Gloom received its first ever airing this morning on BBC and you know what, it ain’t half bad. In fact, ain’t half bad at all at all (stand in awe of my majestical grasp of the English language).

Tickets There, with out crabby old man view on things, was very much expecting a serious flop of a song. A lot of bands have let us down a lot of times with these compilation + 1/2 new bonus tracks but not the Stones. Doom & Gloom would have sat perfectly on any of their classic albums but the message couldn’t be more appropriate. Now, all we need are the bands who’ll write the next part – where everyone cheers up and parties again!

Not a review really, but make sure you check it out – and no one is reading this except you so I’ll be able to tell 🙂

KISS ‘MONSTER’ Released Today!

Posted in INTO-NOISE!, Music, New Music with tags , , , , , on October 5, 2012 by Tickets There

The wait is over people! Today, KISS release their twentieth studio album ‘MONSTER’. It’s their first since 2009’s ‘Sonic Boom’ which saw them achieve their highest ever chart position in the US….just writing this, I believe Tickets There may have indicated in another article that Monster is the first album by the current line-up, of course it’s not – Sonic Boom was. Not like Tickets There wasn’t plastering Sonic Boom everywhere when it came out. Chalk that one up to Jack Daniels head.

Anyways, the album is out today – it’s going to be awesome and you may as well check out the cool trailer than band have released for it. Now, let’s wait for the 2013 European tour announcement! (will they bring Mötley Crüe over? Dare we dream??)
