God it’s sooo close! Hellfest have gone and released their official 2014 booklet (free to all attendees at the site) online so we can get a sneak preview. Reading through the names is unreal – almost every band in the world you could dream of playing the perfect festival is playing this year and the ones that are missing played last year! It’s stupidly, ridiculously, insanely savage.

If you’re in two minds about attending for whatever insane reason – have a read of the booklet and see what you’d be missing out on. No offense to Waken, Bloodstock or any others – but HELLFEST 2014 is the greatest metal festival line-up of all time. BE THERE!

(Just so you’re aware, BLACK SABBATH, IRON MAIDEN, AEROSMITH, MEGADETH, SLAYER, CARCASS, ROB ZOMBIE, EMPEROR, DEEP PURPLE, SOUNDGARDEN, ENSLAVED, SEPULTURA, THERAPY?, MOD, MONSTER MAGNET, PHIL ANSELMO, CLUTCH, GORGOROTH, NILE, SOULFLY – the list is freakin’ endless!

Review: Adler – Good To Be Bad (Single)

Posted in Music, Single Review with tags , , , , , , , , , on October 22, 2012 by Tickets There

Two songs in and things are still on the up and up. With the surprising awesomeness of their debut single, ‘One That You Hated’, it seems ADLER are not destined to be a one hit wonder. Their new song, ‘Good To Be Bad’ is heavier, crunchier and still retains that pounding sing along swagger that caught our attention last time. This time they’ve brought in the distinctive John 5 (Marilyn Manson / Rob Zombie) to add a little electro-horror flavour into the guitars.

Although Steven Adler is one of the infamous founding members of Guns N’ Roses, listeners may not be confronted with the sound they’re expecting. Rather than re-hash the classic LA hair metal style that 25 years ago made Guns the most famous band in the world, ADLER have chosen a more contemporary sound and just carry over the style of song (yup, that means solos, catchy chorus and a sprinkle of sleaze – no NU-METAL).

Their album, Back From The Dead, hits shelves next month. Pre-Orders are available now through the bands official website – Adlerrocks@Blogspot. You can download ‘Good To Be Bad’ NOW from iTunes.

Rob Zombie: Dublin and Belfast Dates Cancelled!!

Posted in Music, News with tags , , , , , , , on June 7, 2011 by Tickets There

(Sorry for the delay getting this updated)

It’s confirmed, Rob Zombie has cancelled his Dublin and Belfast appearances later this month ‘due to personal reasons’.  He updated his Twitter account  this morning with the following….I wouldn’t call it much of an apology, but there you go.

‘Sorry to all that we had to cancel the shows in Ireland. We will come back and make it up to everyone. Sometimes shit happens. Again sorry.

Yes, I know it sucks. I hate canceling shows. It is never something we take lightly. Sorry some of you don’t seem to understand.’

Perhaps fans would understand if they were told the reason Rob, just a thought. I mean, ticket for this show went on sale like 6/7+ months ago so there has been some anticipation and it’s just a tad shit that the rest of Europe get their shows but we lose out. Further comments removed because Tickets There should never write in anger 🙂

Rob Zombies ‘Hellbilly Deluxe 2’ Release Date Postponed

Posted in Music, News with tags , , , on October 21, 2009 by Tickets There

HD2cover

This story is at least a week old not but I’m making more of a effort to post more news related articles and quite frankly, there isn’t anything going on at the moment.

Originally meant to hit stores on November 17th but for unannounced reasons, the album’s release date has now been pushed back to an unspecified date in 2010. No official word has come from Geffen about why they postponed it so hackers, attack!! Get into their database, find out why and publish them. While you’re there, check if there’s any unreleased Guns N’ Roses tracks on their servers and publish them to.

The first single from HellBilly Deluxe 2, What?, was released through ITunes on October 6th. Except an update about the album when TT knows more.

or! – you can visit the legends site and find out yourself…ya lazy bas*ards!
