EHT Announces Second UNLEASHED FESTIVAL

EHT have announced details for the second UNLEASHED FESTIVAL which is due to take place in Fibber MaGee’s this September. 28 bands have been announced so far with more to come. Once again the festival will take place over three days, with the third day being opened up for under age fans (no vodka, whiskey, tequila cocktails for you though – Ha!….my live hurts).

Sinocence, Malevolence and Sworn Against are topping the bills with some undeniably massive names from our local scene popping up over the three days, including Killface, Animator, Vile Regression, AeSect, Hollow Truth and many, many more. No details have been released on weekend tickets, but entry to the Friday and Saturday shows will cost a mere €8 each. Full line’s and dates can be viewed below. Yes, you really did read that correctly. Cunning Metal promotions have booked legendary Polish death metallers, VADER to play the last ever show at Waterford’s Forum venue. Not much notice on this so focus…

VADER will headline the South East Metal Fest on March 28th at the Forum and they won’t be alone. CMP have lined up a serious list of supporting bands including Dublin’s own WARPATH, Animator, Atominated, Dead Label, Uproot Chaos, All The Kings Ashes and One Shoot Kill.

SIEGE OF LIMERICK X Announced For October Bank Holiday Weekend

The tenth Siege of Limerick has been announced and it’s going to be a monster. With a headliner still to confirm next month, the Siege have already announced a mouth-watering line-up of metal delights that are sure to entice.

So far, over twenty bands have been announce including UK, Switz, Spanish, Swedish, German and Irish bands with more to come. The current line-up can be seen below,

Bloodstock Metal 2 The Masses is on! With Heat 1 wrapped up last night (the still waiting to hear the winners), there are now six heats left before the grand final on July 13^th in Fibber MaGee’s. The Annual battle of the bands gives local talent from around the Europe a chance to play at this year’s Bloodstock Festival, as well as three other European festivals (W.O.A. 2014, Metal Camp, SL 2014 and OST in Romania).

Some of the biggest names in Irish metal are involved in the competition with another couple of bands (TT counts 1) still to be announced. A full list of the various heats happening between now and May can be found below. TT will be doing a weekly feature on each winner as they’re announced with the possibility of us begging our choice from the final seven for an interview. Like on our knees begging, none of this email nonsense.
