WARPATH to headline Winter Assault 2014

What better way to pass up three day old turkey and the dwindling stock piles of junk than by getting out into the crisp air and enjoying serious lashings of ye olde metal – WARPARTY style.

One of Dublin’s elite death metal bands, WARPATH will headline the night which will also feature Furnaze (Germany), the excellent Syphor, Axial Symmetry, Cursed Sun and more TBC.

Perverting The Innocent Metal Fest 2014 Announced

10259994_566426030139609_3687522522337578577_nThe summer of metal in Dublin continues to look brighter with the announcement of the Perverting The Innocent Metal Fest 2014.

JD Metal Promotions have announced the one day metal fest for Fibber MaGee’s on September 27th (yes, the day after Evile – ye’ll be destroyed!) with ten fearsome bands lined up. German thrash metal outfit, Witchburner will headline the event in what will be the group’s first ever Irish show (despite being around for 22 years!). They’ll be supported with a killer line-up, inducing Belfast’s OVEROTH and Dublin’s KillFace!

You can see the full line-up below. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 2nd exclusively through Into The Void Records priced €12. It’ll cost you €14 on the door and you won’t get a fancy ticket so buy in advance. More details can be found on the FB Event page.

SYPHOR Announce Album Lanuch Party

Quite the night they’re shaping up as well. In addition to their headling set, they’re also bringing in Scylla, Atominated and Twisted Autocracy. Admission is just €4 in and there’ll be a cd/t-short package on ‘For What Remains’ at the show for just €10. All happens at The Pint, September 21st. Doors @ 8pm, First band onstage at 9. Tired of going to Homebase, kids parties, Tesco and coffee shops on your Saturday (you sad git)? Then why not try twelve (12) foot stomping, guitar shredding metal bands on one stage this Saturday? Crunch Metal Promotions are hosting their Hail The Gods of Winter festival in the pint this weekend and they’ve got a line-up you wouldn’t believe for a price that’ll knock you out.

Hail The Gods of Winter – 12 Band Metal Festival Announced!

The Pint continues it’s dominating stronghold of the live metal scene in Dublin with this announcement. Dubbed ‘Hail The Gods of Winter’, the one day event being held on January 28th boats 12 bands in one day including well known acts like For Ruin, I’ll Eat Your Face, Sirocco and Waylander (well, we’ve heard of Waylander) not to mention drink promos, stalls and a winter BBQ. All this for a lowly, lowly, lowly, measly, so measly you’d have to ask yourself ‘as a heavy metal fan living in Dublin, how can I justify not going to this?’ measly price of €5 on the door.

The whole thing is being brought to you by Crunch Metal Promotions (who ran Curse The Gods of Summer earlier in the year) and bands are still being confirmed so keep checking C.M.P.’s event page for more details. All confirmed names announced so far can be found below
