Soulful psychedelic rockers Sweet Jane have a bunch of Irish shows coming up. Kicking off this week, the group will play six dates around the country, including shows in Sligo, Dublin, Belfast, Mullingar and Cork. Full list of dates can be found below – Go on the Jane!
Oct. 27th – The Garavogue, Sligo.
Oct. 28th – Twisted Pepper, Dublin.
Nov. 1st – John Dalys. Mullingar.
Nov. 4th – Crane Lane, Cork.

Dec. 13th – Auntie Annues, Belfast.
Look what happens, we go quiet for a few months and ye stick The Stunning and The Aftermath on a festival bill together to entice us back! It worked J
The Green Village Music and Arts festival takes place this weekend (Saturday, September 24th ) in Co. Westmeath and promises to be a terrific, recession busting priced event. Major acts on the bill include The Stunning, Ryan Sheridan, The Aftermath, Bipolar Empire and The Riptide Movement (full acts, stage times..etc can be viewed here – http://greenvillage.ie/festival/brochure.pdf)
There’ll also be fun, food, talks, DJ’s – the whole nine yards. Tickets are only €35 per person with cheaper tickets available for OAP’s and Students. Children under 12 go free and camping is also free with the ticket price. Make sure you check this out because quite honestly, this is an event that’ll be hard to miss.
Ah yeah, The Aftermath are finally revving up for the release of album number two! The albums first single, Lost Possession, which was formally / informally released last year will now get the whole nine yards this month with the release of an official video and a launch gig happening in Mullingar.
The video is out now and can be viewed below with the launch show planned for June 19th @ Danny Byrnes Music Festival in Mullingar. Also on the bill are Tickets There favourites Sweet Jane plus many more (full line-up below). 9 bands, DJ’s all accompanied by a record fair, fire dancers, face painting, free barbeque, beer promotions and…oh yeah, it’s all FREE ENTRY!! (Tickets There is currently reviewing existing plans for that weekend because that sounds mad!)
