Congrats to Psykosis – Molten Metal Battle Finalists

Finding it unusually hard to find out what happened at the Dublin and Metal Molten Battle of the Bands Semi-Finals, but it appears Psykosis have triumphed in Dublin so Tickets There is sending out our congrats to the lads on a well-deserved place in the London Final. We know you’ll do us proud lads!

For those who don’t know, Psykosis are one of the most prolific thrash metal bands on the Dublin scene, easily tipping up there as one of the best in the country. Proper, full on riffs, tunes with fun, screaming and metal themes (like toxic fugitives and early morning terrors). They’ll be headlining the November Thrash metal Mania at The Pint so pop in and check them out along with the equally awesome Exzeltic.

Molten Magazine Battle of the Bands – IRE/N.I. Semi Final 1 & 2 This Week (DUBLIN / BELFAST)

The semi-final rounds of the Molten Battle of the Bands take place this week in Dublin and Belfast. The winners of each stage will go forward for the grand final in London to compete for the grand prize which includes,

  • Track Number 1 on Molten Underground Compilation, recorded at Envy Studios in the UK and Produced by Stefano Morabito (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour of Penance, Bloodshot Dawn).
  • Two page main feature in Molten Magazine to coincide with the compilations release.
  • A festival slot on Portugal’s SWR Festival for 2013.
  • A professional High Definition Music Video, produced by Dead Parrot Productions.
  • Fifty shirts printed for free with a 1 colour design to sell as merchandise.
  • An opening slot on a Molten Sponsored UK tour in 2013 courtesy of Chaotic Tapestry Management.

Molten Battle Of The Bands – Ireland/Northern Ireland – Heat 4 – Dublin

8 Local Competitions across the UK and EIRE and a grand final in London to find one band to be crowned Molten Battle of the Bands Winner!!! All winners and runners-up in each region will be added to a compilation which will go out under the banner of Molten Magazine!

It all happens at The Pint on Eden Quay (saying that a lot today) on September 16th. Tickets are €5 and doors are at 8:00pm. For more information, click here.
