Just came across this fantastic track while trawling through some hard rock bands. They’re from Antrim, they’re called Sweet Taste and they’ve got a pretty bang on sound. If you’re a fan of Jaded Sun or The Answer, check these guys out. The tune is called ‘Otherside‘ and it seems to have come out back in january, but rock music doesn’t age so it’s all good.

Alice Cooper: New Song Played Live
Posted in Music, New Music on May 25, 2011 by Tickets There
If you’re anything like Tickets There, you’re sitting in front of your computer watching the minutes tick away until June 8th when hard rock legends Def Leppard, Alice Cooper and Thin Lizzy will take the stage of Dublin’s O2 Arena for a night of iconic rock n roll classics.
In that spirit (and to help the time pass a little easier), we thought you might like this little nugget, a brand new Alice Cooper track titled ‘I’ll Eat Your Face’, which comes from Alice’s forthcoming album, Welcome 2 My Nightmare, a follow up to his 1975 début solo album. If we’re lucky, it may make an appearance next month when the grand master arrives in Eire.
Alice, we’ll never be worthy! Enjoy folks!

Posted in IRISH NOISE!, Music, New Music with tags Admiral Black, Humanzi, Shaun Mulrooney, SHOCK CORRIDORS on January 23, 2011 by Tickets ThereAdmiral Black has uploaded a new song entitled Shock Corridors to Souncloud. Well worth a go for any of you looking for some classic rock grounded, psychedelic fun. The band is currently based in Berlin working on material for their début album. For those of you who’ve heard of Humanzi, you may be interested to know that the Admiral himself is ‘former’ (considering they’re as close to broken up as you can get without screaming it out loud) Manzi singer Shaun Mulrooney. We gave this a few spins yesterday and have to say it’s not a bad wee tune at all from the new group. More to come in 2011 so consider this a Christmas taster.
