Trucker Diablo’s Debut Album Gets US Release

Posted in Music, New Music, News with tags , , , , on January 26, 2012 by Tickets There

Excuse certain bloggers tardiness on this one, but we couldn’t not mention the fact that Trucker Diablo, one of the most exciting things happening in hard rock have re-released their debut album ‘The Devil Rhythm’ through Ripple; a California based record label. They’ve also got the official video for ‘Drink Beer, Destroy’ out there and it’s kicking ass all over YouTube and on Kerrang Radio. The re-rellease features 3 additional bonus tracks including one new recording and two live recordings from last years Download Festival in the U.K.

If you haven’t heard this record then you need to pick it up. For fans of AC/DC, Guns, Metallica… it’ll be right up your ally. More fury than a dragon and more power than Tyson. Tickets There sold out and put our review elsewhere but mark my words, you’ll be seeing a lot more about these guys in 2012.

Def Leppard have confirmed they will be headlining the Download Festival on Friday, June 10th followed by a 18 date US Tour with folk rockers Heart. According to Def Leppard’s official site, more dates (including some non-US) ones will be announced on Monday so stay tuned for more details.

As reported previously on Tickets There, Leppard are still due to release a live album recorded during their 2009 US tour. The album is due out in May and the title has been confirmed as Mirrorball…..we know but hey, soon there’ll be a new studio album and we can forget the title of this. One thing, it will still feature three brand spanking new studio tracks with hints that Leppard have returned to a more hard rock sound. We wait with bated breath.
