Shave The Pagan Pope: Live Music and CUT-THROAT Shaving For Charity

I’m not 100% sure how to report this one as the details seem a little sparse, but this Thursday (Aug 22nd) in Fibber MaGee’s, some chap named John POPE Ryan will get shaved by a tattooist named Philie Ob to the tune of five live bands – and it’s all for charity. Oh, and as the headline says, the shaving happens with a cut-throat razor.

I’m afraid I don’t know about tickets or that, but playing on the night will be the legendary WARPATH, along with Kerouac, Hard Rockin Hobo, Little Brothers and Freddy And The Smokers.

Fibber MaGees Announce 2 Night 21st Anniversary Bash

Fibber MaGee’s, the long standing Dublin metal mecca on Parnell St. is celebrating its 21^st Anniversary this month. Since it’s the big one, they’re going for not one, but two nights of live music and drink promos. There’s also a mention of free booze – and you heard that here. Remember to come back and read other great stories here in thanks for us getting tanked @ Fibbers for nuttin’.

Anyways, both nights are at the weekend, it’s just €3 in both nights and did we mention drink promos? Oh, well then how about adding 14 bands to the list. Doors are at 8 both nights and the music kicks off at 8.30. List of bands and dates below.

Trucker Diablo Announce First Dublin Headlining Show

You thought their second album coming out today was exciting? Well the big truck is coming to town! After a small selection of supporting shows and competition slots over the past few years, Dublin is finally going to get Trucker Diablo on stage for a fully-fledged heading show on August 1^st.

August 1st 2013 ‘ Fibber MaGee’s, the Truckers will be playing Fibbers as part of their Songs of Iron tour. Doors are at 8pm and admission is just €7. Support on the night will come from Kerouac and Electric Taurus

Mixing classic hard rock with a sleek sound for the 21^st century, Trucker Diablo have been winning over critics, peers and fans alike all over the UK since the release of their debut album, The Devil Rhythm. Today (May 13^th 2013), the band has released their second album, Songs of Iron which has been receiving rave reviews from many different on and offline publications.
