Once again, a Guns N’ Roses tour is about to begin and few outside their die-hard fan-base are aware. Currently The Most dangerous band in the world are set to play a shocking 9 gigs over the next three months. How they plan to meet this grueling, intensive schedule boggles both the mind and physics. The logistics of trying to get from Denmark to the UK in 1.5 months is beyond human possibility. Learn our limitations Axl, damn it! We’re only people for fecks sake.

Sarcasm aside, Tickets There stands by Axl and the guys and we’re confident there’s more dates on the cards for us Europeans. Norway, Russia, Sweden and Finland are odd choices but maybe Axl’s sick of the rest of Europe’s bitching….and he’d be right to! Anywho, if more dates come out, we’ll announce em but for now, this is the full list of Euro 2010 shows.

May 31 – Bergen, Norway
June 2 – Oslo, Norway
June 5 – Helsinki, Finland
June 6 – St. Petersburg, Russia
June 8 – Moscow, Russia

Tickets There would like to wish the Guns the best of luck for tonights show, hope everything goes well!!

Guns N’ Roses For Slane 2010! – April Fools Day, Sorry!

Posted in Music, News with tags , , , , , , , on April 1, 2010 by Tickets There

Sorry folks, all an April Fools Day joke BUT, keep an eye on TT because we’re 99% sure an Irish date is coming…but it won’t be Slane

Unconfirmed reports have tipped hard rock legends Guns N Roses to take the headlining spot at this year’s Slane Festival.

The band who are already being confirmed to play the Reading and Leed’s Festivals in August last played the venue on their Use Your Illusion World Tour in 1992.

Since late last year, Guns have been steadily trekking their way around the world on their Chinese Democracy World Tour with leg’s in Asia, Canada and South America already completed. It seems the group will spend June – August playing shows in Europe and then possibly move onto North America. The group has been playing a slightly odd set list recently which can be viewed below,

Axl’s Intro (Chinese Democracy melody)
Paradise City
Right Next Door to Hell
If The World
Live and Let Die
Fortus (Richard) Solo
One in A Million
Out Ta Get Me
Locomotive
Sweet Child O Mine
Don’t Cry
Anything Goes
You Ain’t The First

We’ll bring you more news when we have it.

UPDATED – 18th Feb. 2010

It has just been announced that Guns N’ Roses will be playing Helsinki on June 5th. Tickets go on sale Feb 24th and they’re €89 (Show includes <strong)The Prodigy, Skunk Anansie & Danko Jones)

**************************************

Guns N’ Roses first European date of 2010 has been confirmed. It has just been announced that the group will play this year’s Sweden Rock Festival in Sölvesborg, which takes place between the 9 – 12 June.

Other acts set to appear included Slayer, W.A.S.P., Gary Moore, Danzig and many more.

Guns N Roses have just completed a thirteen date Canadian leg of their Chinese Democracy World Tour and received an unprecedented amount of praise for the shows. The tour originally started Asia, with the Guns playing four dates across Taipei, Seoul plus two shows in Japan.

With a South American leg set to begin in March, it now seems very likely that Europe will get to enjoy the mighty GN’R long before North America, a country that has allowed a minority of hard core fans to become overly outspoken in their criticisms of lead singer, Axl Rose and the bands activities for the last number of years.
