Another competition you say? Oh go on then. This is one you’ll have to be quick on as The Doors Alive (or as we call them – the world’s greatest Doors tribute band) are playing one of their special midnight shows at The Academy tomorrow night (Dec 5th) and thanks to MCD we have a chance to send you and a friend to see them work their magic.

To enter, simply email your name, phone number and the answer to the following question to ticketsthere@hotmail.com

• In Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Axl Rose made an appearance as a DJ/former lead singer of a fictional 1980’s rock band that took it’s name from a Doors song. What was that song? (*hint, it’s on their debut album)
  • If that question is too difficult – or you don’t play Grand Theft Auto (for some reason) then simply send on the name of your favourite Door’s song. See, we’re nice people 🙂

Competition closes at noon tomorrow. Entrants must be over 18. Winner will be contacted by tomorrow afternoon.

And folks, even if you don’t win I can only advise you to go and see these guys. Forget your perception of tribute acts or any of that. These guys are the real deal and before you know it you’ll think you’re sitting in the Hollywood Bowl watching the real thing. An excellent, excellent band.
