Just read on Blabbermouth that Iron Maiden have officially started working on their fifteenth studio album. Janick Gers (lead guitars) was speaking to BBC news and he confirmed that the band have been writing new material for the album and are heading of the Paris for three weeks to work on the new tracks.

Maiden’s last album, A Matter of Life and Death was release in 2006. They caused some controversy when the announced they’d be playing the album in it’s entirety on tour and ignoring most of their back catalogue.
